We are looking for a passionate, hard-working, and talented General Manager. As the General Manager, you will direct the overall operations of our production facility in Stevensville, MT. You must possess excellent interpersonal skills, superior knowledge of business functions, and strong leadership qualities. A commitment to teamwork and collaboration are absolute requirements.

 

 Key responsibilities include:

• Directs facility level support functions including product assembly/test, materials management, manufacturing engineering, scheduling, shipping/receiving and quality assurance

• Manages and maintains labor and operating costs in accordance with budgets and strategic goals

• Oversees day to day operations

• Supervises employees including assigning work, ensuring staff is trained & following policies/procedures, and making hiring/termination/disciplinary decisions or recommendations

• Provides information to Irvine, CA headquarters including daily/weekly/monthly reporting requirements

• Monitors the facility’s equipment needs and ensures equipment is properly maintained

• Assesses operational efficiencies and seeks opportunities to improve processes

• Develops and tracks performance metrics and goals

 

Minimum qualifications:

• 2+ years’ experience in electronics assembly, machining, construction, or other skilled manufacturing industry

• Committed to 100% on-site presence

• Able to work with a high degree of autonomy

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• High bias for action

• Knowledge in Lean or Inventory Management Principles

• Adept user of Microsoft Office and Teams software

 

Preferred qualifications:

• Proven track-record in a decision-making leadership role

• 4+ years of relevant industry experience
