Soldering Technician - Stevensville, Montana

Maztech Industries — We are a technology company specializing in rapid development of Military and Commercial optical systems: Night Vision, Laser Warning and Identification, Ranging, and associated capabilities. We are looking for a passionate, hard-working, and talented Soldering Technician who will be a part of every aspect of the product’s development.

As a member of the team, you will be responsible for the development and launch of core product features. Our vertically integrated company, including operations and engineering staff, are experienced veterans in providing low-power, lightweight solutions for capturing imagery across the spectrum.  Our passion for supporting the user community and their mission demands excellence in everything we do, from the talent we recruit to the highly engineered systems we deliver. Key responsibilities include:

• Experience with soldering, assembling, and re-working micro-electronics, jumper wiring, and surface mount components

• Ability to hand solder components as small as 0402 and 0201 package sizes

• Building cable assemblies

• Assembly of circuit cards with through-hole and surface mount components

• Auditing assembly kits

• PCB quality check once received from vendors

• Quality check of assembled boards once received from vendors

• Work with engineers from all disciplines

• Knowledge of machined and electrical parts

• Critical Thinking

• Time Management

Education/Experience:

• H.S. Diploma or Associates Degree.

• Education requirements may be waived if the candidate has significant experience in assembly
