Draftsman

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Draftsman to support our growing manufacturing team. The Draftsman is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans based on engineering concepts, specifications, and design requirements. This role supports engineering, manufacturing, and project teams by producing accurate drawings that ensure products, components, or structures are built to exact standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and revise detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using CAD software

  • Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and calculations

  • Prepare layouts, assembly drawings, and part details for manufacturing

  • Maintain drawing standards, version control, and document accuracy

  • Incorporate design changes and redlines promptly

  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and production teams to resolve design issues

  • Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and company requirements

  • Maintain organized records of drawings and documentation

 

Minimum qualifications:

  • Associate degree or technical certification in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar)

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specification

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
